Daniel was born and raised in Whangārei and has worked in the banking and financial services sector since 2019. Before joining Yovich & Co, he built strong relationship management experience through roles with BNZ and ASB Private Banking, where he supported and worked with high-net-worth clients with complex wealth, family, investment, and long-term planning needs. This experience shaped Daniel’s client-first approach and gave him a strong appreciation for the importance of trust, clear communication, and tailored advice.

Daniel is a qualified Financial Adviser and holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). After holding this qualification for some time, he was keen to move further into wealth management and apply his studies in a role aligned with his passion for investments, portfolio construction, and financial planning.

In 2024, Daniel joined Yovich & Co, where he combines his relationship management background with his growing technical expertise. He is currently continuing his professional development through Massey University, studying towards a Graduate Diploma specialising in Financial Planning.

Daniel takes pride in building genuine, long-term client relationships. He is detail-oriented and places strong importance on ensuring clients are well informed, comfortable with the advice process, and confident in the decisions they are making. Alongside his client-facing role, Daniel is actively involved in Yovich & Co’s wider investment and advice process, contributing to the firm’s Investment Committee, model portfolio development, and supporting projects focused on improving investment methodologies and advice outcomes.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys hiking, travelling, and staying active in the gym. He brings the same curiosity, energy, and discipline to his professional development and client relationships.
